Unitarian Church of
Barnstable
On Sunday during the 9 and
11 a.m. services at the Unitarian
Church of Barnstable a Christmas
Choral Program will be presented
by the church choir. The choir will
sing carols from foreign lands as
well as a few syncopated carols.
Harpist Katie Lynch Koglin willplay
a Christmas prelude and offertory.
The program will be the same for
both services. The children's RE
program is at 11 a.m. Childcare
is provided during both services.

As a gift to the community, the children of St.
Francis Xavier Preparatory School will present
a Live Nativity tomorrow immediately follow-
ing the 4 and 5:30 p.m. Masses behind St.
Francis Xavier Church. The nativity will feature
Christmas carols, the Holy Family, live animals,
and refreshments. St. Francis Xavier Church is

Our Savior Lutheran Church on Cape Drive
off Route 28 in Mashpee will offer an Outdoor
Living Nativity, bazaar, and bake sale tonight
from 7 to 9 and tomorrow from 1 to 7 p.m.
Living Nativity in Mashpee
Our Savior Lutheran Church will host an
Outdoor Living Nativity, Bazaar, Bake Sale, and
a children's make-your-own gingerbread house
event tonight from 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow
from 1 until 7 p.m. Refreshments will be avail-

Christmas Story Village
Victory Chapel Fellowship is hosting the
Christmas Story Village for its sixth and final
year. Step back in time and see Bethlehem
as it may have been 2000 years ago. Visit the
marketplace and live manger; enjoy a hayride,
skit, and free children's crafts. The village will

Christmas memorial service in
Cotuit
Cotuit Federated Church will hold a Christ-
mas Memorial Service on Sunday at 3 p.m.
to honor and remember loved ones who have
died during the past year or in recent years.
Memorial ornaments will be placed on the
church Christmas tree. The community is

Discussion and mediation
Spirit Journey Philosophical/metaphysical
discussion and meditation group meets on

The Cape Sangha, aZen Buddhist meditation

Zen Center presents weekly
meditation
The Cape Cod Zen Center has weekly
meditation practice at the Unitarian Church
of Barnstable, Barnstable village on Route 6A.
The Tuesday morning group meets at 8 for
meditation in the RE area downstairs. There
is meditation instruction on Fridays at 6:40
p.m. in the library and a Friday Evening Group
meets in the library, behind the sanctuary,
