Whelden Library is boutique for a day The Whelden Memorial Library will hold its annual food sale, silent auc- tion and holiday boutique tomorrow from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event will feature gifts, decorated table trees, holiday foods, and decorations for sale, as well as a silent auction. December Art at Brewster Ladies' Library The Dec. art show at the Brewster Ladies' Library features "Recent Works" by Marion Beck von Peccoz and Alicia Hammat. Marion recently won first prize for pastels in the 2006 All Cape Art Show. Both artists have studied at the Chatham Creative Arts Center. Brewster Ladies' Library Open House The Brewster Ladies' Library will host a Holiday Open House tonight at 7, The public is invited to enjoy holiday decorations throughout the library and listen to a special concert presented by the Nauset Regional High School Jazz Band. Refreshments will be served. On Saturday Santa will be visiting the Li- brary at 10 a.m. to read holiday stories A sing-along with Cathy Weldhaas will follow at 10:30 and there will be take- home crafts and refreshments. Story hour Thursday mornings Ages 3 to 5 are invited to attend story hour at Whelden Library in West Barnstable Thursday mornings from 10 to 11. Book sale in Osterville The Friends of the Osterville Village Library sponsors a used book sale ev- ery Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon as well as the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pre- school stories and activities for ages 3 to 5 Tuesdays from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. To pre-register, call 508-428-5757. White Mountains come to Cahoon New Hampshire's White Mountains have long been a magnet for tourists , including many Cape Codders.
