stroll chowder
The First Congregational Church
of Yarmouth, 329 Main St. (Route
6A), Yarmouthport , will hold its fourth
annual Church Chowder Supper
following the Annual Yarmouthport
Christmas Stroll on Sunday, Dec. 3.
Park at the church during the Stroll,
then return at 5 p.m. to enjoy clam

Heritage shifts to winter
hours
Heritage Museums & Gardens is
open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 31. The
Spectacle of Lights will be open from
5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Sunday, and 5
to 10 p.m. on Saturday. The museum
will be closed on Christmas Eve, and
there will be no lights on Christmas Day
(when the museum will be closed). Dur-
ing Christmas school vacation week,
Spectacle will be open every night
from 5 to 9 p.m. Heritage Museums &
Gardens will be closed to the public for
January, February and March except for
program registration. The museum will
open again on April 1.

The Second Annual B&B Cookie
Tour, sponsored by the Rotary Club
of Hyannis, will take place Sunday,

Yarmouth seniors get fit
The Yarmouth Senior Center, 528
Forest Road in South Yarmouth, is
hosting "Fun and Fit with Debbie
Anthony," an exercise class for all
levels, on Mondays and Wednes-

class includes stretching, low-impact
aerobics and exercise for those with

Heritage hits the road
Heritage Museums & Gardens in
Sandwich will lead a bus tour to
Cambridge's historic Harvard Square
followed by a celebration of the winter
solstice at the 36th annual Chris tmas
Revels on Dec. 15. The bus will leave
at 3 p.m. and return at 11 p.m. The
first stop is the luxurious Charles Ho-
tel, then it's on to the Sanders Theater
for a new German/Swiss production
of Revels that explores the roots of
modern Christmas and will include an
ensemble cast of more than 80 per-
formers. Tickets (including round trip
transportation, driver gratuity, perfor-
mance, light refreshments) are $85 for
member adults, $95 for non-members;

Programs at the Boys &
Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Club in Mashpee
is offering some new programs,
including indoor soccer on Wednes-
days at 4 p.m. for kindergarten to
grade 2, Explorers on Tuesdays at
3, karate, hip-hop dance and Smart
Girls for girls ages 7 to 12. There's
also a high school teen club, horse-
back riding, science lab, a newspaper
club and technology club.
The club is open Monday through
Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. Teen nights
are held every weeknight from 6 to
8 p.m. Friday night the clubhouse is
open from 6 to 10 p.m. for teens. The
club is open every Saturday starting
in November as well as during vaca-
tion weeks.
