preparation hitherto discovered for the cure of colds and
other consumptive comp lai nts. Having tested this med-
icine , we cm speak with confidence as to its salutary
effects in removing colds and other comp lai nts incident
to this season of the year.

From the Cincinnati Enquirer.]
Wherever this medicine is introduced, it at once at-
tains that hi gh reputation which it so richl y deserves.
What can Mop its sale, when on every hand can be wit-
nesssd its wonderful cures. The worst cases of Asthma,
recent but dangerous Coughs, and also those that are of
long standing, Bronchitis , and Consumption in its earl y
stag es, are ahvay scured by this remarkable medicine.
Be not deceived by impostors—th e public should he
careful to get the genuine articl e, as th e imitations and
counterfeits being put up by those who know nothing of
medicine , or of th o diseases of the human system , are
entirel y unsafe and dangerous.

Died in Orleans , on the 29th ult.. of dysentery and
fever, Albeit, onl y son of widow Abagail Kenrick , 19
years and 6 months. This is the last of three interest-
ing and promising sons , all of which died , within six
months of the same age. But few young men in town
have given greater prospect of greater moral worth and
usefulness than the deceased. But with the most plea-
sing prospect before him , and the tenderest of friends
cli nging to him , he was willing to give all up for the
inviting and pleasing prospect iocyond the vale of death.
The oft afflicted widow has now onl y one remaining
child—a kind and affectionat e daug hter. May she not
droop and decline nor repine , when God is so good to
spare such a hel p and support for her declinin g years.
And then how pleasant it is to think of this circle of
dear friends in the heavenl y clime awaiting her pres-
ence. Soon she will pass the shadowy vale , and then
she too may lave her weary sp irit in the seas 0.1heav en-

parting and sighing will have fled away. "And God
shall wi pe tears away from off all faces." God cheer
