RELIGIOUS SERVICES The Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd Worship services are held Sun- day at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school begins at 9:15 a.m. A healing ser- vice is conducted on the second Wednesday of the month, and a Bible study is held on the third Wednesday. Penny Shaffer will speak on Women Ministries Sunday Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. on "Gracious Living" at The Salvation Army on North Street in Hyannis. Celebrate All Hallows Eve The Unitarian Church of Barnstable will host an All Hallows Eve Party Oct. 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (no scary/violent costumes , please). There'll be contra dancing with the band 3 Cats and a Dog, crafts, face painting, "honoring the ancestors ," and harvest foods. Admission is by donation of $5 per family. Children's Sabbath Weekend Faith communities across the Cape and na- tion are invited to partake in Children's Sabbath Weekend Oct. 20 through 22 when the issues for discussion will be the unmet health care needs of U.S. children. Under the sponsorship of the Cape Cod Council of Churches, all Cape congregants are asked to focus on this issue in worship and action this weekend. Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church in Centerville will focus its 10 a.m. mass on Oct. 22 on the Children's Sabbath theme. Zen Center presents weekly meditation The Cape Cod Zen Center has weekly meditation practice at the Unitarian Church of Barnstable, Barnstable village on Route 6A. The Tuesday morning group meets at 8 for meditation in the RE area downstairs. There is meditation instruction on Fridays at 6:40 p.m. in the library and a Friday Evening Group meets in the library, behind the sanctuary, at 7 for meditation.
