celebrates 30 years Sept. 29 at Ocean Edge,

Harvest Craft Fair
Crafters from New England exhibit work for
sale Oct. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the HT
Wing School, Route 130 in Sandwich. Food and
beverages. Free admission. Proceeds benefit the
Sandwich Jr. Women's Club.
Dennis Manse opens doors
The Dennis Historical Society hosts Randy
Joseph, Wampanoag Education Manager at
Plimoth Plantation, Sept. 30 when he visits the
1736 Josiah Dennis Manse Museum for a day of
discussion on early Wampanoag life. There will
be showings of artifacts, corn husk doll mak-
ing, food, tours led by costumed docents and
more from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a
cemetery walk at 2:30 p.m. Meet on the Village
Green.
Fall fair in Dennis Village
The Cape Cod Center for the Arts and the
Dennis-Harwich Lions Club host their annual Au-
tumn Fair on the grounds of the Cape Playhouse,
Route 6A in Dennis, Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to 2
p.m. Rummage sale, furniture, jewelry, art, food,
music and more.
Comedy central
Cape character Noel Beyle shares his humor
and stories at the wrap-up dinner for the Heri-
tage Association Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. at the Four
Points Sheraton in Eastham when he highlights
the Cape from A to Z. Admission is $25. Call

Veterans to return to Rome
This year's annual reunion tour for members
of the Fifth Army Veterans of World War II Ital-
ian Campaign, along with family and friends, is
slated for Rome, Anzio, Venice, Pisa and other

Half way Irish day
Celebrate St. Paddy's day a half year in
advance Oct. 1 when the Irish Village, Route
28 in West Yarmouth, goes all out to entertain

be held on March 10.

The 48th
Annual Antique Car Parade for Dennis
Festival Days is Oct. 1 from noon to 1 p.m. be-
ginning and ending at the Ezra Baker Elementary

Heritage Museums & Gardens
A fall foliage trip has been planned for Oct.
1 and 2 to the Shelburne Museum in the Lake
Champlain Valley of Vermont. Another event
is slated for Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon when
there will be an autumn garden wreath-making
workshop. An elm bark basket workshop is held
Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. when there is also a .
celebration of our trees featuring lectures, work-
shops, walking tours , demonstrations by featured
