Mary Richmond holds art classes

The museums and gardens are

in Sandwich, where the shell work
of Evelyn Way Kendall is on exhibit
along with "The Automobile Comes
to Cape Cod" vignette. Check out
the 1899 Winton and the 1908 Sears
Surry, the 1904 Curved Dash Olds

sea paintings by Charles Robertson
Patterson on display through Oct. 30.

Adult studio classes offered at
the Cape Cod Museum of Art are
still life oil painting, stained glass,
bas-relief sculpture, digital photog-
raphy, contemporary film, more. Call

ing, ocean explorers, masks, collage,
face painting, Chinese water brush,

An exhibit of nature prints by Ernst
Haeckel is on display through Nov.
16. Drawing, art history, calligraphy,
assemblage, figure drawing and

artist Rosemary Simpkins has created
a sculptural bookwork as a memo-
rial to the Twin Towers destroyed on
9/11. It is on display through Nov. 5.
The Printmakers of Cape Cod exhibit
Sept. 23 through Dec. 10. Guided
tours of the museum Thursdays at
2 p.m., Saturdays at 11 a.m. and

Members of the British Car Club
meet for the 6th Annual British Legends
Weekend Sept. 29 through Oct. 1 at
Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging in
Falmouth. Things kick off on Friday
when there is a meet and greet, BYOB.
Saturday there is a parade, boat cruise
and social and on Sunday car buffs
get to show off their rides at 9 a.m. at
