The speaker at the workshop was Mrs. Peg Hennigan who offers anti-bullying courses on the Cape during the summer.Although it is not a big problem at Centerville, this is not the only place where children may encounter such behavior. Our teachers want to make sure they can recognize the subtle nuances of bullying, not just the extremely overt behaviors. Plus, they want to be able to equip the children with skills to report and/or stand up to bullying wherever they may encounter it. This workshop is open to all schools in Barnstable. REMINDER: In order to protect the health and safety of all the children at Centerville Elementary, our school is now a nut safe school. Therefore, please do not send any products to school that may contain peanut or tree nut ingredi- ents. Thank you for taking the extra time to read ingredient labels and provide a safe environment for the children!
