Four restored historic buildings
around the village common on Route
6A hold open houses Sept. 17 from 1
to 4 p.m. when admission is free.
Heritage Museums &
Gardens
Sail aboard the gaff schooner Ala-
bama Sept. 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. The
fee, $70 to $95, includes transporta-
tion to and from Woods Hole. A fall
foliage trip has been planned for Oct.
1 and 2 to the Shelburne Museum in
the Lake Champlain Valley of Vermont.
Another event is slated for Oct. 2 from
9 a.m. to noon when there will be an
autumn garden wreath-making work-
shop. The Cape Cod Antiques Dealer
Seminar will be held on Sept. 21 with
four speakers. The Golf tournament at
the Hyannisport Club is held Sept. 27.

Space is still open for the St. Peter's
Church craft fair being held Sept. 23

Open house
The Academy of Performing Arts, 5

cause

Hallet House open
The Captain Bangs Hallet House
Museum is located at 11 Strawberry

What's up at the CCMA
Classes offered to children at the
Cape Cod Museum of Art , Route
6A in Dennis are drawing and paint-
ing, multi-media adventures, color

drawing, contemporary film, totems ,

Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Club in Mashpee
is open Monday through Friday from
2 to 6 p.m. Teen nights start Sept. 25
and are held every weeknight from 6
to 8 p.m. Friday night the clubhouse

Additionally, the club is open every
Saturday starting in November as well
as during vacation weeks. Offerings
include Japanese drumming, photog-
raphy, homework tutoring and help,
horseback riding, lacrosse, a goal-
setting program, karate, basketball,
dance, computer, career prep, healthy
living and much more. A satellite Boys
& Girls Club for grades 7 through 12 is

The Cape Cod Children's Mu-

class and more. Me and My Dad event

Foster and adoptive

Coffee and an open mic
The YMCA of Cape Cod's coffee-
house for teens at Camp Lyndon in
