GOOD DAY - It was a breezy, but otherwise perfect day for the 17th Annual Marstons Mills Village Day, held along Main Street
in the village Sunday afternoon.
HIGHKICKING-Astudentfrom USAKungFuAcademydemonstrates
some advanced moves. /
FLYINGHIGH-There was plentyof wind to keepthe flag flying
from the end of the COMM ladder truck.
DAVID STILL II PHOTOS
FIVE SECONDS OF GLORY-The
foam fun started with a promising
flow of suds, but that changed in
a hurry.
OPTIMISM -The crew from the ;
COMM fire department worked •
on the equipment and the foam-
expectant children remained in —
the spray, hoping for a change to
creamy lather.
DESPERATE-The small pile of
suds on the field was continually
reduced. So desperate were the
foam-craving children, there was
a small pile up in front of the fire
engine, where a test patch was
* deposited.
BACK IN BUSINESS-To brief
cheers, the foam started to flow,
but the glory was as short-lived
as the first.
OUT OF BUSINESS-A reduced
flow of bubbles was again the
order of the day.
¦
HOSED DOWN - In the end, there
was enough water remaining to
wash off the slurry of spent suds
and grass.
