RELIGIOUS SERVICES The Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd Worship services are held Sun- day at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school begins at 9:15 a.m. A healing ser- vice is conducted on the second Wednesday of the month, and a Bible study is held on the third Wednesday. RELIGIOUS NOTES Blessing of the animals The Yarmouth Animal Control Department hosts the 19lh annual Blessing of the Animals Sept. 23 at 10a.m. on the lawnat West Yarmouth Congregational Church on Route 28. Missionaries in Brewster Fred and Lucille Ulrich of Ogden, Utah, are serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints through November 2007 at the Brewster branch, 53 Freeman Way off Route 137. All are welcome to the Sunday service at 9:30 a.m. Meditation offered for beginners The Cape Sangha,a Zen Buddhist meditation group, meets Sundays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Old Schoolhouse on Route 6A in Barnstable village. There is meditation instruc- tion on Fridays at 6:40 p.m. in the library and a Friday Evening Group meets in the library, behind the sanctuary, at 7 for meditation.
