LEWIS BAY YACHT CLUB The annual fnll meeting of the Yacht Club was held last Sunday afternoon at which time George D. Hall wus re-elected commodore ot the club and cups and trop hies were presented to the winning skippers of the various series und special races. Cups were presented to the fol- lowing: July series—first , Carter Helton, Speedy; second, Skipper Hall , Skip-It; third , Barbara Bots- ford , Minx. LIBRARY Beginning next Monday, the Hy- annis Library will change over from its summer schedule of hours, according to an announcement from Miss Gladys Bond, librarian. It will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. daily, except Tuesdays and Sun- days; and from 7 to ft p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. BAPTIST CHURCH g The Rev. E. Gage Hotaling, a lieutenant in the Naval Reserve, arrived at the Naval Air Station . Quonset Point , R. I., today for two weeks' active duty as chaplain. Guest preachers will occupy the pulpit during his absence. Next Sunday, September 11, Rev. Geo. W. Hylton of Cotuit will preach. Rosen- gren , a senior, in the College of Business Administration , and Wil- liam F. Sullivan , Jr. of Hyannis Port, for his sophomore year. Miss- Virginia B. Smith will en- ter Becker Junior College next week for two years in accounting; and Constance C. White will re- turn there for her second year. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Israel of Worcester and children , Caroline , Barbura and Stephen , who have summered at South Hyannis for three years, will return home next week. Their summer home there is being built. Joan Allen, who visited her grandfather, Frank Norton , Jr., In Edgartown for three week , Is home. Miss Edwina' F. Montague, a graduate of Barnstable High School and Brldgewater State Teachers College, has been appointed to teach science and mathematics in the former school. She taught in the same capacity at Oak Bluffs High School and has been employed at Oak Bluffs all summer. F. Bryant Scudder left today for Macon, Ga., where he will assume his duties as professor of art at Wesleyan University. He Is a vet- eran, is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and was awarded a diploma by Fountalnbleau Art College in France. Mr. and Mrs. William L. Fitzger- ald have had for visitors his sister, Mrs. Ellen F. Jenkins of New. Brunswick , N.
