Tuesday toddler story time is at 10
a.m. with preschool storytime ev-

new book club has formed focusing on
personal growth and spirituality. The
group meets at 9:30 a.m. the second
Wednesday of the month.
Cotuit Library
Story times at the Cotuit Library are
Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Wednes-
days at 2:15 p.m. when pre-schoolers
are welcome for stories, songs and
crafts.

Saturdays at 11 a.m., Miss Sandy
reads for storytime at the store on

Marstons Mills story
hours and more
The Marstons Mills Public Library
invites children of all ages to weekly
story hours on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Also on Tuesdays, at 4:15 p.m., there
is a story hour for children in pre-
school through grade 2, crafts includ- \
ed. Grades 4 through 7 are invited to
play board games from 4 to 6 p.m.
Eastham Public Library
The Eastham Public Library has
weekly storytime every Friday at 10:30
a.m. for children up to age 5. A craft
session follows. The library also hosts
a monthly "Magic The Gathering"
trading card game program for ages
11 and up the first Tuesday of each
month from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. All are
free, but you must sign up in advance.

Cape Cod Art Association
The Association, 3480 Route 6A
in Barnstable, is offering courses in
watercolor painting, oil painting, life
drawing, digital photography and
more. Student members ages 14 to 22
are welcome for a membership fee of
$15 a year, which includes discounts
on classes, newsletter subscription
and ability to exhibit and sell work.

Cape Cod Art Association's
Children's Art Classes include Art
for Mommy & Me (ages 2-3), offered
Tuesdays; Books We Love: Art for New

offered Thursday mornings and after-
noons; and Saturday Art Discovery
(ages 5-7 and 8-10). Fees vary and all

in Barnstable Village. Artist Members'
exhibit runs through Sept. 11 when
mixed media works, oils, pastels,
water color and more are on display.

What's up at the Cahoon?
The Cahoon Museum of American
Art, 4676 Route 28 in Cotuit, offers
docent tours every Friday at 11 a.m.

Cahoon paintings reveal
their sources
"Consider the Source: Influences
on Ralph and Martha Cahoon's Early
Paintings" is the latest exhibition at
the Cahoon Museum on Route 28 in
Cotuit. The show runs through Oct. 1.
The show is the first Cahoon exhibition
at the museum in two years.

and more through Sept. 3. at the gal-

Cotuit Center for the Arts
The Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404
Route 28, has summer classes for
adults and children in painting, theater,
life drawing, mixed media, assemblage,
hatha yoga and more. A retrospective art
exhibit is held for the 100th anniversary
of the Cotuit Mosquito Yacht Club. Call

Learn the art of glass bead making at
