0^=I?or inci pient Consumption , wo know of no bet-
ter remed y than WISTAR'S BALSAM OF WILD
CHERRY". It is soothing and healing in its nature ,
and is admirabl y adapted to allay and dissi pate that
annoy ing and distressing irritation which so much pre-
vails at this season of the year, caused by colds , coug hs,
and chilis , broug ht on by frequent and sudden changes
of the weather. We know of several severe cases which
ha ve been radical ly cured by the use of this Balsam —
Some two years since a friend of oars was suffering un-
der what was thoug ht to be confirmed Consumption—a
severe cough, loss of appetit e, ni ght sweats , &c. By th e
use of the Balsam , he dispelled these alarming encroach-
ments, and is now in the enjoyment of comparative
jood health.—[New England Washingtonian , Boston.
tost Toicc Restored !
New Bedfohd , Aug. 10, 1848.
Mr. S. W. Fowlc : Having seen many certificates
published in relation to DR. WISTAR'S BALSAM
OF WILD CHERRY , I take this opportunity of of-
fering a word in its favor , which you are also at liberty
to publish. A few months since my wife 's lungs be-
came so much affected by a sudden cold , that she lost
her voice, and suffered severel y from pains in the breast.
Her situation caused her friends much alarm. Having
heard your Balsam strong ly recommended by those
who had used it , I purchased 'a bottle of your Agent in
this place. She took it according to directions , and it
produced a wonderfu l effect. Before using one bottle
she had completel y recovered her voice, the pains sub-
sided, and her health was soon full y restored.
Yours truly .
