New programs at the Boys
& Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Club in Mashpee is
open Monday through Friday from 2 to 7
p.m. Teen nights are held each Wednes-

ally, the club is open every Saturday as
well during vacation weeks. Offerings
include photography, homework tutoring

Coffee and an open mic
The YMCA of Cape Cod's coffee-
house for teens at Camp Lyndon in
Sandwich will be held the second and
fourth Saturday of each month from 7

BLT's Annual 'Gifts from
the Sea' Benefit
Barnstable Land Trust's 12th Annual
"Gifts from the Sea" lawn party and auc-
tion will be held at the scenic Bayview
Farm property along Route 6A in West
Barnstable on Saturday, Aug. 19, from
5:30 to 9 p.m. Bayview Farm is a historic
homestead that is the site of a 10-acre of
Land Preservation effort of the Barnstable
Land Trust and the Nature Conservancy
with the support of local, federal, and
state funding. Tickets are $75 per person
by sending a check together with a
stamped, self-addressed envelope to
Barnstable Land Trust, Box 224, Cotuit,
