The Elbows play original tunes and lead sing-a-longs Aug. 8. Music For a Summer Afternoon On Sunday Aug. 13 at 4 p.m. the Yarmouth New Church Preservation Foundation presents an organ and vio- lin concert at the Foundation building opposite the Village Common on Route 6A in Yarmouth Port. The concert will feature Kurt Glacy playing Baroque music from European countries on the 1870 Clarke tracker organ and Audrey Wright, 16-year-old violinist from Harwich. Sea chanteys with the Rum Soaked Crooks The Barnstable Historical Soci- ety's Sea Chantey Fest on Aug. 12 featured nationally known artists the Rum Soaked Crooks from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Daniel Davis House on Route 6A in Barnstable Village, next door to the Sturgis Library. Admission is $10 and a cash bar will be available, as will barbecue clams and chowder. Concert series continues in Sandwich Entrain plays an eclectic set of vo- cals backed up by horns, guitars and drums Aug. 17 at Heritage Museums & Gardens at 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Performances are on the outdoor concert stage unless there is rain, in which case performances are at the Bourne Public High School on Waterhouse Road.
