MOON LANDING OF
ESPECIAL INTEREST
Steve and Irma Hayes of Cen-
terville took especial interest in
the moon landing last weekend as
they had recently returned from
a visit to the volcanic areas in the
National Park at Hawaii where
astronauts Armstrong and Aldrin
visited to learn more about lunar
geology.
During the Hayes' stay at Vol-
cano House, they were told that
Killauea volcano would erupt at
any moment, but they came back
disappointed and had to wait to
see it erupt on their home TV set
last Thursday.
