Kindermusik for children
Preschool music classes for ages 18
months to 4 are ongoing at the South
Congregational Church in Centerville
for $9 a class. Kindergarten-age
children are invited to attend Kinder-
musik Young Child classes Tuesdays
from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.

CIGSYA activities
The Cape & Islands Gay & Straight
Youth Alliance has a dance room, cyber
center, library, TV room and game room
as well as several programs and activi-
ties. There are monthly dances, support
meetings for all family members, movie
nights, pot-luck dinners, tutoring and
mentoring. CIGSYA is located at 56
Barnstable Road in Hyannis and serves
people 22 and under. Circle for Youth
meets from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays
at the club house. Activities include cre-
ative writing, visual art, dance, theater
and more.
Dance programs in West
Barnstable
The Cape Cod Conservatory on Route
132 in Barnstable is offering ballet,
tap, jazz and belly dancing for all ages.
Admission is $96 to $200, depending on

Yogilates in Osterville
Cape Cod Pilates, 1336 Main St. in
Osterville, offers a new yogilates class
Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. Admission is

Summer planting
A repotting clinic is held every Sun-
day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hyannis
Country Garden, 380 West Main St.

It's pasta night every Thursday
between 5:30 and 8:30 at the Sons of
Italy, 4996 Falmouth Road in Cotuit. And
if that doesn't fill you up, stop by for an
all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet Saturday

Lobster lunches are back
again!
The 49th annual Lobster Luncheon at
the Federated Church of Hyannis, Main
St., is up and running Fridays when the
doors open at 11:30 a.m. Food served

Whalefest on the green
The International Fund for Animal Wel-
fare holds the first Cape Cod WhaleFest
July 29 (rain date July 30) on the Village

Christmas in July
St. Vincent de Paul Clothing Center,
4463 Falmouth Rd. in Cotuit, is cel-
ebrating the winter holiday early this
year on July 28 and 29 from 9 a.m. to
3 p.m. when collectibles, ornaments,
stockings, toys, gifts and more will be
for sale. All clothing at half price.
Dance the night away
A dance for young people ages 22
and under is held July 28 at The Cape &
Islands Gay & Straight Youth Alliance, 56

Rec night for teens
The YMCA invites grades 5 and 6 to

Saturday of the month from 7:15 to 9:45

A raffle for a painting of a sloop head-

The Captain Bangs Hallet House
