nnillS is the age of ilNeoveriel. The instantaneous

doubt and derision as is now Vestowed upon the great
Oxy-hydrogen Light and HeatlDissemator , of Paine.—
But the telegraph discovery isli matter of fact, wheth-
er Painc's succeeds or not. Tfiere is no doubt whatev-

German Lnstral Washing Fluid
is as much a matter of fact 83 the laws of gravitation.
Indeed, it may well be considered one of the greatest
blessings of the age, as wherever it is used.it turn s that
curse of ' all da ys, "Wasiij io Day ," into a day of
gratitude and peace, if the Wenuine Washing Fluid is
used. But in consequence af the

of all reall y meritorious articles with which the market
is flooded , it has become nefessary to caution the pub-
lic against the many base Ind worthless counterfeits
got up to imitate the GERMAN LUSTRAL WASH- ]

put up in bottles of a similar style, and lhe labels so 1
printed that they are well calculated to deceive the !
purchascr.and injure the hi gh reputation of a trul y valu- j
able article. '
Indeed the Proprietors are credibl y informed that |
certain individuals , possessed of more brass than brains
are now attempting the manufacture of a spurious ar-

CANCERS CURED.
C L . SPENCER , M. I)., takes this opportunity to
. noti l'v the public that be has a safe and speedy
cure for CANCERS without the aid of a Surgical Op-
eration. The- most distressing of all diseases the liu-
I ma n famil y is subject to. It is one of the most pain-
|ful maladies known to the human race. Its orig in or
¦cause remains a mystery to the Medical profession oi
I everv nation. Some however , have united in ascribing
its ori gin in no small degree to mechanical derange-
ments of the bod y, thereby producing a morbid condi-
tion of the svstein. The minds of patients thus afflict-
ed become very much taxed by a continual concentra-
tion of thought in reference to'their condition , they are
cut off from' most of the happ iness and enjoyments 0
{life ; they become alive to the slightest stim ulent , and
the mindf contemp late* in its variou s relati ons, every
.shadow of sadness and every color of .m,,g,nat,on,from
highly intellectual to the basest of hallucinations. -
There is little or no pain in the treatment , and Cancers
treated by me never trouble the patient again.
