NO WAY - First off all.if a sign says "No Tresspassing" rather than "No
Trespassing," does it mean only bald people are welcome? Now to the
serious stuff:This decades-old access towater (Craigville Beach) off Long
Beach Road in Centerville has been closed to the public following a Land
Court decision in favor of abutter Anastasia Marty.David Houghton, first
assistant town attorney, recalled Marty's attorney "said she was going
to put up a sign." It appears this one went up not long after the town's
request for a stay was rejected in Land Court last month. Houghton, who
visitedthesitethis week, said he noticedalsothatthe steps leadingover a
seawallto the beach have been removed. On June 5,oral arguments were
heard inthe town's appeal, and Houghton anticipates a decision this fall.
