mun and Bruce K. Jerauld.
The Unlversalist-Unitarian Church
of Yarmouth Port will hold summer
services each Sunday at 9:30 a.m.,
beginning July 2. A social period
beginning at 9 a.m. will precede
each service. On July 2, the hostess
for the social period will be Mrs.
Crittenden H. Adams. Subject of the
sermon by the Rev. Kenneth R.
Warren will be "Faith of Our
Fathers."

MISSING BOOKS
As the summer season opens with
Its greatly Increased demands for
library service, the librarian pf
Sturgis Library is mailing out ur-
gent appeals in an effort to locate
.some missing books, which have
apparently been mislaid, passed on
to other readers, or been carried
out of town. "Help"

Human Comedy, Sword and Scapel,
The View From Pompey's Head,
Philippa , The Thorn Tree, Stars on

SUNDAY CALLER
A friend staying at my house on
Sunday while I was at church heard
a slight noise and looked up to see-
not a dog but an antlered deer on
the porch looking In the front door.
At being discovered he leisurely
took off skirting the fences and dis-
appeared into the fields at the rear
of the place.
YACHT CLUB NOTES
The annual Fourth of July picnic
will be held at the club Monday,
July 3, at 6 p.m.
Date of the annual meeting has
been changed to August 5 at 11:30
a.m.
Cars traveling on the pier road
must not exceed 15 mph. and driv-
ers must be alert for children play-
ing, pedestrians and cyclists.
DR. AND MRS. SCHALL TO
TOUR EUROPE
Capt. and Mrs. F. Warne Gooch,
Jr., of Bethesda and their children,
Sklppy and Diane, arrived Saturday
for a visit with Mrs. Gooch's par-
ents, Dr. and Mrs. LeRoy A. Schall
of Scudder Lane. Mrs. Gooch and
children, with her sister, Mrs.
Wayne S. McCord and children,
Michael, Cynthia, and Barbara , of
Patuxent River, Md., will remain
while Dr. and Mrs. Schall tour
Europe this summer. They fly to
Paris July 1, and after visiting
friends in Liechtenstein will tour
Switzerland , Austria and Italy. They
will return to Paris in time for Dr.
Schall to attend the Seventh In-
ternational Congress of Otolaryn-
gology; and, as the United States
representative and as Vice-Presi-
dent, the meeting of "The Inter-
national Committee For The Study
of Cancer of the Larynx."
PERSONALS
Mr. and Mrs, E. A. Moore have
moved from their winter home on
Meetinghouse Lane to their summer
cottage off Salten Point Road.
Mrs. George Chipman (Mabel
Hallett) of Baltimore and Mrs. Ber-
nlce Hallett Neal of Arlington are
at the Mitchell cottage on Coggins
Pond; Mrs. Chipman for the sea-
son and her sister for a few days.
Mrs. John Derby of Arlington
joined Mrs. Chipman this week.
Timothy Coggeshall of Rendez-
vous Lane returned from a 10 days'
wulse In his "Dauntless" with a
group of boys and went out Immedi-
ately for a six-day cruise with a
group of younger boys.
Joseph C. Segar of West Hartford
iolned his family for the weekend.
James Kittredge and two children
°f Los Angeles, Cal„ are visiting
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C.
KUlredge , on, Pine Lane for sev-
eral weeks.
Mrs. Albert Bush-Brown and
three children have returned from
an extended trip In Europe and are
at their home here for the summer.
Mr . Bush-Brown is touring In the
Scandsmavlan countries and will
arrive here early in July.

°f Boston were at their home for

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Granger of
Bingham were at their cottage off
Salten Point Road for the weekend.
Mr . ,,nd Mrs. E. N. Richardson of
Huigham were at their camp off
Salten Point Road for the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Calvin of
Plymouth and sons, James and
David , are at their cottage off Salt-
en Point Road for the season.
H. C. Everett, Jr., a former sum-
mer resident, spent several hours
with his cousins, Mr . and Mrs. K.
H. Barnard , Miss Mary Sprague
and Mrs. S. T. Knott , Si ., this past
week.
Col. and Mrs. William Radford
Coyle of Bethlehem, Pa., and Mrs .
Oliver Finnegan of Ottawa , Canada
and daughter Patsy arrived on Sun-
day. Col. and Mrs. Coyle are here
for the season and Mrs. Finnegan
and her daughter for a few days.
Miss Judith Matlack of Cam-
bridge is visiting Mrs. B. S. Carrey,
Jr., at her home on Freezer Road.

of Washington , D. C, were recent !
guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. j
Twombly for a few days.
Mrs. Wellington Wolflnge r of Nor-
ristown, Pa., Mrs. John A. Long-
acre of Plymouth Valley, Pa., and
Mrs. Herbert Woehllng of Norrls-
town, Pa., spent the past week with
Mrs. Dorothy Evans Copp at her
home on Rendezvous Lane.
Clarke Coggeshall of New York
City is spending a two weeks' vaca-
tion at his home on Rendezvous
Lane.
Miss Esther Klein of Wellesley
was a guest of Mrs. James Cogge-
shall this past week.

son David of Hanisburg, Pa., spent
this week with their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Kenneth D. Greene.
