Golden , whose evening programs drawn from the Great American Songbook made Cape Cod nights as beautiful as the days, is affiliated now with George Washington University in Washington.D.C., hosts two shows heard coast-to-coast on XM Satellite Radio (one with longtime friend Tony Bennett), and has lectured on jazz at the Smithsonian Institution. The presentation was a surprise to Golden, who returned to the Cape to attend Bennett's sold-out concert at the Melody Tent Saturday. The singer's band joined Lou Co- lombo and Dick Johnson to rock the Roadhouse before and after the award.
