S. mint at Philadel phia have issued specimens of the new three cent piece, composed of three-fourths silver and one copper ; also the new cent , containing a small proportion of tilver. These are coins proposed by Mr. Dickin- sonV bill . The cent weighs 25 grains ,and has a cir- cular hole in the centre. The Spanish coins now jn circulation will be received at the mint at their current value in exchange lor the new coins, so as to induce a rapid and genera l recoiimge. Bunker Hill.—The seventy-fifth anniversary of the.battle of Bunker Hill , will be celebrated under the ausp ices of the city of Charlcstown and the Bun- ker Hill Monument Association , on the 17th inst. — The oration will "be delivered bv Edward Everett. Dr. Btherewilh and was carried on to the main •baft , anil instantl y killed. He was mang led in a mo^t shocking manner. The shaft was making 120 Evolutions per minute. An inquest was held by Coroner Russell , and the verdict was in accordance with the above facts.—[N. B. Sta ndard , 30th, ult.
