Harbor Your Arts This town sponsored program features 15 local artists exhibiting and demonstrating their techniques at Bismore Park, 180 Ocean Street in Hyannis through Sept. 30. Bloomin ' paintings on display An open show of works concentrat- ing on floral fiestas is on display June 4 through July 16 at the Barnstable Unitarian Church. Cape Cod Conservatory Registration is open for the Cape Cod Conservatory Fine and Perform- ing Arts classes. Programs offered include studio art classes , an instru- ment sampler for young children, "Broadway for Girls," "Art in the Afternoon ," monotype, drawing and more. Camera club at art association The Cape Cod Art Association camera club meets at 7 p.m. ev- ery other Thursday at the CCAA on Route 6A in Barnstable when there will be guest speakers, critiques, contests, workshops, photo sessions and more. Group for youths The Barnstable Youth Commission and its Youth Empowered Through Learning Leadership advisory group meet at 2 p.m. every first and third Thursday in room 2108 at Barnstable High School when ages 13 through 19 are invited to discuss issues affecting the young people of Barnstable. German-American Club Members of the German-American Club generally meet the second Sat- urday of the month at the Fraternal Lodge in Centerville. Annual membership is $8. Contradances in Cotuit A Contradance is held the second Saturday of every month at Freedom Hall, 976 Main St. in Cotuit, with live music by John Alden & Friends. Heritage Gardens and Museums The museums and gardens are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Sandwich, where the shell work of Evelyn Way Kendall is on exhibit along with "The Automobile Comes to Cape Cod" vignette. Check out the 1899 Winton and the 1908 Sears Surry, the 1904 Curved Dash Olds and others. There's also an exhibit of sea paintings by Charles Robertson Patterson. Creative Arts Center The Creative Arts Center, Crowell Road in Chatham, hosts art exhi- bitions, lectures, workshops and classes. For details on classes and shows check out www.capecodcre- ativearts.org Yarmouth Art Guild members exhibit The Yarmouth Art Guild exhibit at the Cape Cod Cooperative Bank, Route 6A in Yarmouthport features works by Allan Remick and Mary Susan Chalke. May Good and Joan Jacobson are exhibiting at the Soveriegn Bank, Route 28 in South Yarmouth. All works on display through June 28. New works in P'town An exhibit of diverse artworks is on display at the Lyman-Eyer Gallery, 349 Commercial St. in Provincetown, through June 8. New exhibits and more at CCMA As part of the 25 exhibits planned for its 25th year, the Cape Cod Museum of Art is showing works by Joseph E. Enneking (1881-1942), a well-known regional impressionist landscape painter, represented in major museums. A retrospective of works by William Littlefield is on dis- play through Aug. 27. James Bakker gives talk on Littlefield's work June 8 at 11 a.m. Throughout the year works by Cape teachers Charles Hawthorne, Henry Henche, R. H. Ives Gammell and Hans Hoffman will be on dis- play. Works by their students, such as Hilda Neily, Sal Del Deo, Haynes Ownby, Harry Holl, Arnold Geiss- buhler, Varujan Boghosian and Robert Douglas Hunter, to name a few, will also be exhibited, all in honor of the 25th anniversary. Marine art of the Cape and the sea is displayed through June 18. Friend's garden party June 5 at 1 p.m. Rick Fleury's work is on display through June 25. The public is invited to solve the % puzzle of "Meditation at Patmos," a painting by Xavier Gonzalez, as part of the museum's Community Curators program. Adult studio classes offered are still life oil painting, stained glass, bas- relief sculpture, digital photography, contemporary film , more. Childrens art classes and activities are held July 6 through Aug. 21.
