Movies at the Sturgis
Bring the family for free films based
on children's books Thursdays at 4
p.m. The setting is Sturgis Library on
Route 6A in Barnstable, and the juice
and popcorn are free. Ages 5 and

Woods Hole film fest
A film from the Woods Hole Film
Festival will be featured at a dinner
and screening at Cap'n Kidd's restau-
rant in Woods Hole. Dinner is served
from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. with the film
shown at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $25
per person and includes dinner. The
next movie plays May 20. For reser-

films every Tuesday evening. Food
and drink samples related to the film

Hall
Barnstable High School will swing
to the sounds of a full jazz band to-

department showcases a full jazz
band backing a show choir, vocal
