Games n-ere played with Leslie winning a special prize. Adults present were Mrs. -Clifford Jones and Miss Ruth Pierce. CHURCH ELECTION At the annual church meeting ol the Baptist Church, Maurice Aller was elected moderator. Other off! cere elected were MrB. Barbara Wyman, clerk ; Mrs. Florence Me serve, secretary; Mrs. Florence Whitehead, financial treasurer and Mrs. Vernette Allen, benevo lent treasurer. Ronald Chesbro was elected superintendent ot the Sun day School with Maurise Allen as assistant superintendent. Mr. Ches bro and Mr. Allen will BIBO be trustees of the church for the com- ing year. The nominating committee is William P. Hodges, Louis Wil- liams, Florence Chadwick', Emily Hallett and Minerva Cousins. Ush- ers are Silas Whitehead, Alcotl Ames, David Starck and Scott Buckner. Chadwick was chosen delegate tc the State Convention. COMMUNITY CLUB Th Community Club of Ostervllle ' Community Church held its final meeting for the season on Thurs- day, May 5. Committee in charge were Mrs. R. David Hinckley, Mrs. David Kittila and Mrs. Frank E Hansen. Following are the officers elected for next year : Mrs. Ellen A. Hinckley, president; Mrs. Betty West, vice president; Mrs. Uosa mond Milne , secretary; Mrs. Ann R. Hall , treasurer. It was voted to hold a public supper May 12 with two sittings of 75 each at 5:30 and fi:;«) . Tickets may be secured from any member of the club. Mrs. Ethel Phillips is in charge of arrangements.
