Members named for Hyannis Access Study Two score and something years ago , our ancestors brought forth the idea of anew exitfrom Route 6, conceived in enlightened self-interest and dedicated to the proposition that easier access to Hyannis lay somewhere between Exit 6in West Barnstable and Exit 7 in West Yarmouth. Now we are engaged in a great access study, testing whether atask force of 25 can conceive a comprehen sive study that willlong endure as the basis on which to create a new entrance to Hyannis. The first meeting of the Hyannis Access Study Task Force, set for May 12 from 1to 3 p.m. at town hall, is open to the public. The work between now and July is to convert those commitments into checks, which Telman said takes time. The banks and its directors have been in the marketplace for about 60 days. Telman said that a July opening of the Hyannis branch is attainable.
