gether with the buildings thereon,
situated on the easterly side of the
Straightway, so called, in that part
of the Town and County of Barn-
stable, Massachusetts, known as

corner of the granted premises at
a concrete bound set in the easter-
ly side line of said Straightway, and
marking the northwest corner

yaw;

along the easterly sideline of said
Straightway eighty (SO) feet to a
point for a corner marking the-
southwesterly corner of land of

Capo, the speaker told. He said
that In this country hostels aro
built and maintained by hostelers
during work trips. Hostels woro
started In Europe in 11)10 and they
havo spread fill over the world.
Thoy were started In this country
in 19.15 In Westfleld and or the 140
hostels 2,1 are In New England. He
Bald there are 100 In Switzerland
and ,170 in England.
Hostelers do fatigue work at
the lioHiels , help farmers and the
communities In various ways be-
cause they do not have so much
money to spend. Hostelers travel
in families and singly. Boston
Council sponsors weekend and
week trips and there are nine hos-
tels within a day's cycling range
of Boston and 1500 have already
planned trips this summer. One is
needed on the Mid-Cape, be said,
between Sandwich and Province-
town.

until he was 14 years old , told the

Pack 53, Cub Scouts of America,
held its monthly meeting last night
at the Elks Home on Barnstable
Road . Mr. and Mrs. BusBett of
Brewster were guests. Mrs. Bassett,
a commissioner, represented the
council office and presented the
annual charter to Mr. Richard Nye,
chairman of the Pack Committee.
Mrs. Eva Bennett accepted the
charter for the sponsoring institu-
tion , the Emblem Club No. 93. Mrs.
Florence Borsari presented to Mr.
Myron Sandler, Cubmaster , a pla-
que and a Cub Scout ring m recog-
nition of his faithful work as a Cub-
master. Mrs. Bennett presented a
gift, two straps and flag and holder
to the Pack and after the meeting
the Emblem Club served refresh-
ments.

Cub Master, spoke of the Houolit
movie with William Bendlx In the
"Life of Riley, " to be put on May
12 and 13 at the Center Theatre,
Hyannis. Also that the Cubs of
Pack 53 will be the guests of the
Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park,
Boston, on May 26. All arrange-
ments for both of these ovents

42 Members New Received
Forty-two new members were re-
ceived at the Anniversary Services
' last Sunday when 21 years of min-
istry as pastor and people were
concluded and the 22nd year was
started. There were 400 people
present at the I wo morning serv-
ices for the largest gathering to
ho In attendance on the Sunday In-
augurating a now year of ministry
during the entire 21 years. To date
100 now members have been re-
ceived in 1949.
