Items wanted for marine
rummage sale
The Osterville Historical Society
and Museum is seeking donations for
the next marine rummage sale May
27 from 9 a.m. to noon. If you have
something such as water skis , an-
chors, oarlocks , fishing rods, paddles,
etc., which you can part with, stop by
the museum at 155 West Bay Road
and make a donation or call 508-428-
5861 to arrange for pick-up.
Kindermusik for children
Preschool music classes for ages 18
months to 4 are ongoing at the South
Congregational Church in Centerville
for $9 a class. Kindergarten-age
children are invited to attend Kinder-
musik Young Child classes Tuesdays
from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.

years-old are invited to attend Kinder-

CIGSYA activities
The Cape & Islands Gay & Straight
Youth Alliance has a dance room, cy-
ber center, library, TV room and game
room as well as other programs and
activities. There are monthly dances,
movie nights, pot-luck dinners, tutor-
ing and mentoring. CIGSYA is located
at 56 Barnstable Road in Hyannis and
serves people 22 and under. Circle for
Youth meets from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on
Mondays at the club house. Activi-
ties include creative writing, visual art,
dance, theater and more.
Dance programs in West
Barnstable
The Cape Cod Conservatory on
Route 132 in Barnstable is offering
ballet, tap, jazz and belly dancing for
all ages. Admission is $96 to $200, de-

New hours at Maritime
Museum
The Cape Cod Maritime Museum,
135 South St. in Hyannis, is open
Thursday through Saturday from 10
a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon
to 4 p.m. A new exhibit, "For Those
in Peril on the Sea," is on display as
well as the ongoing construction of a
replica of the 1886 Crosby Catboat ,
Sarah. Admission is free to $5.
Rec night for teens
The YMCA invites grades five and six
to teen recreation night held the first Sat-
urday of the month from 7:15 to 9:45 p.m.
at the Y, Route 132 in West Barnstable.
Admission is free to $3. Grades seven
and eight are invited to teen dances the
second Saturday of the month from 7:15
to 9:45 p.m. Admission is free to $5.
Cherry Blossom Time Dance
Singles are invited to step out April
29 when Sociable Singles presents a

Sauteed Soft Shelled Crabs with Cajun BeurreBlanc
2T Clari fied Butter or Canola Oil
2 Medium crabs per person
1/4 cup white vermouth
2 T Chopped shallots
1 cup Heavy cream
4 T Butter
2 T Franks^;Hot Sauce
1 cup Flour
Dredge crabs in flour and sautee 3-4 minutes each
side. In seperate pan , reduce white vermouth and
finel y chopped shallots. When almost all li quid is
gone add heavy cream and reduce to thick. Whi p
in butter. Add Franks^ Hot Sauce. Pour over crabs
and serve.
