The next screening is Manon of the Spring, the sequel to Jean de Florette, playing on May 2. The last film of the season is May 9 when Lovers of the Arctic Circle plays. Woods Hole film fest Films from the Woods Hole Film Festival will be featured in a series of dinners and screenings at Cap'n Kidd's restaurant in Woods Hole. Dinner is served from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. with the film shown at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $25 per person and in- cludes dinner and the movies , which play April 29 and May 6 and 20. For reservations , call 508-548-8563. Weekly films and food The Island Merchant , 10 Ocean St. in Hyannis, has screenings of popular films every Tuesday evening. Food and drink samples related to the film are served on the side at 7 p.m. The screenings are at 7:30 p.m. Admis- sion for the package is $15 or you can order off the menu. j f r MUSIC: Grammy winner to perform Larry Ford presents a gospel concert May 7 at 6 p.m. at Christ Chapel, 1200 Old Stage Road in Centerville. Free will offering. Folk sounds in Woods Hole John Whelan performs on accor- dion, fiddle and the pipes April 30 at the Woods Hole Folk Music society. Boch Center to kick off season The Boch Center for the Performing Arts starts their season July 15 when singer/songwriter Melissa Manchester performs at 8 p.m. at Mashpee High School. Organ concert in Orleans David Chalmers and James Jordan present an organ concert April 30 at the Church of Transfiguration on Rock Harbor in Orleans. A Ray of sunshine Ray Rasicot performs at the Pad- dock Restaurant, West Main Street in Hyannis, Friday and Saturday evenings when he'll be playing the Hammond Organ (B-3) as well as the piano. V^ MISCELLANEOUS : Barnstable Model railroad show is Sunday Model trains from around New Eng- land will operate Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cape Cod Community College gym during the Cape Cod Model Railroad Club's annual show. Model train dealers will offer their wares as well. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and those ages 12 to 18, and free for the younger set. The family maximum is $9.
