RELIGIOUS SERVICES
The Anglican Church
of the Good Shepherd
Worship services are held Sun-
day at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school
begins at 9:15 a.m. A healing
service isconductedonthesecond
Wednesday of the month, and a
Bible study is held on the third
Wednesday. The church is at the
Oakcrest Cove Retreat Center at

Cape Cod Synagogue
Shabbat services are the first
Friday of the month at 7 p.m., all
other Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and
Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. Shabbat
dinner is served before services
on the first Friday of the month at

Christ Chapel
Worship services are at 8:30 and
11 a.m. with Sunday evening wor-
ship at 6. Nursery care is provided

Arise [regional] Worship Gathering
for students at 6:30 p.m. when
there will be music ,teachings and

Coast Chapel
Sunday morning worship is held
at 10 in the Forestdale Elementary
School on Route 130 in Sandwich,
where Pastor Joe Goldberg deliv-
ers the message. Sunday school
classes for pre-K through 5th
graders begin at 10:30 a .m. All

Church
The congregation meets for wor-
ship services and Sunday School
at 10 a.m. The Rev. Diane Cu-
sumano, a Presbyterian minister,
is interim pastor of the combined
United Church of Christ/United
Methodist church at School and

Faith Assemblies of
God Church
The Rev. Richard Robedee will
deliver the morning message at
11 with music by worship leader
Beverly Robedee. Christian edu-
cation classes for all ages begin
at 9:45 a.m., and everyone is in-
vited to an evening of Bible study
Wednesdays at 7 at the church
on Bearse's Way in Hyannis. The
Partners with Pastor Prayer Time
is held Tuesday and Thursday
mornings from 7 to 8:25.
Federated Church of
Hyannis
The Rev. Weldon Palmer leads
the service at the church at 10
a.m.The church is located on Main
Street in downtown Hyannis.
First Church of
Christ, Scientist
The Bible Lesson-Sermon will
be delivered at the 10:30 a.m.
service. Sunday school is at
the same time. Nursery care is
available for infants and young
children. Testimony meetings are
held every Wednesday evening
at 7:30 at the church on Bearse's
Way in Hyannis.
First Lutheran Church
Pastor JohathanAhnquist leads
the Sunday worship services
at 8:15 and 11 a.m. Education

fellowship follows each service.

accessible.
Kollel of Cape Cod
Erev Shabbat Family Worship
services are held at 7 p.m. each
month by Kollel of Cape Cod at
150 Flint St. in Marstons Mills. A
community Shabbat dinner is at 6

Community Church
Pastor Rev. Robert Swanson

One Light
A Center for Spiritual Transfor-
mation: An Interdenominational,
New Thought Church, created

St. George Greek
Orthodox
Orthos is at 8:30, Divine Liturgy

St. Mary's Episcopal
Church
Weekend services onSaturdays,
at 5 p.m., the Holy Eucharist with

The Eucharist is celebrated in
the church, 421 Wianno Ave. in
Osterville , Sundays at 8, 9:15 and

a coffee in the church hall after
the 9:15 service. Baby sitting for
younger children is available. The

Seventh Day
Adventist Church
The SDA Church runs the
Bayberry Christian School for
elementary grades. Separate
Sabbath School Bible studies
are held for children and adults
at 9:30 a.m. every Saturday
followed by Worship Service at
10:50 a.m. On the first and third
Sabbaths of each month, a pot-
luck dinner is offered following the
service. Wednesday night Prayer
Meetings are held at 7. The SDA
church is pastored by Pastor
Mark Gagnon, 2736 Falmouth

South Congregational
Church
Worship is held at 10 a.m. in
Centerville. Church school for
children in preschool through 8th
grade is available and the Cokes-
bury Exploring Faith Curriculum
is followed. Nursery care during
the worship hour is available. A
coffee hour follows the service.
The Sunday morning Adult Edu-
cation and Conversations group
meets at 9 with Women 's Fellow-
ship. The church offers adult and
family choirs.
Unitarian Church of
Barnstable
The Rev. Dr. Kristen L. Harper
will conduct the morning wor-
ship services at 9 and 11 at the
church on Route 6A in Barnstable
Village. Her topic will be "Belt-
ane." The religious education
program is held at 11 a.m. Child
care is provided. All are welcome
to join the social hour after the
services.
United Methodist
Church
Worship services are held at 57
Pond St. in Osterville at 9 a.m.
and 10:30 a.m. Coffee hour fol-
lows. Nursery care and Sunday
school are offered during both
services. Bible study is at 7:45
a.m., Sunday school at 9 and
10:30 p.m.
Unity Church of the
Light
All arewelcome at the service at 10
a.m. in the Yarmouth Senior Center

speaks. Sunday School at most

Retreat for young women
Church Women United of Cape Cod sponsor an
annual retreat May 5 to 7 for Young Church Women

Free Christian Science talk
Heloisa Rivas, a member of the Christian Sci-
ence Board of Lectureship, discusses how one
may find answers through a spiritual perspective
April 29 at 6 p.m. in Portuguese and at 7:30 p.m.
in English. Both talks are held at the JFK Hyannis
Museum, 397 Main St.
Meditation offered for beginners
The Cape Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation
group, meets Sundays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the
Old Schoolhouse on Route 6A in Barnstable Village.
All are welcome, and basic instruction in meditation
is offered to beginners.
Zen Center presents weekly
meditation
The Cape Cod Zen Center has weekly meditation
practice at the Unitarian Church of Barnstable,
Barnstable Village on Route 6A. The Tuesday
morning group meets at 8 for meditation in the
RE area downstairs. There is meditation instruc-
tion on Fridays at 6:40 p.m. in the library and a
Friday Evening Group meets in the library, behind
the sanctuary, at 7 for meditation. There are also
retreats, field trips to the Providence Zen Center

Bible studies for women in WB
The West Barnstable Community Center on
Route 149 is the location for a women's Bible
