They will send out a final summary at a later date. "THE WALK": Would you please support "The Walk"? On the week-end of May 20, 1 am doing the Avon 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer. I need your help. Having my legs move for 2 days (26-39 miles) is not too difficult. As a cancer survivor, I am very motivated to do this for other patients and their families, but each participant must raise a minimum of $1,800 and this is why I'm asking for your help. If you would like to donate, please write a check to Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and send it to me here at BWB. I will mail it in to the Avon Foundation that is sponsoring this walk. I will be wearing a T-shirt, and on it I'll write the names of people I know whose lives have been affected by this disease. If you would like me to add any names of those who have fought the cancer battle, I'd be honored to have their names on the shirt and keep them in my mind and heart as I walk each mile. Know your support is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Sue Parke (Second Grade Teacher) JAZZ IN THE VILLAGE: The Friends of Sturgis Library announce our popular Sunday Afternoon Jazz Concert.
