Items wanted for marine rummage sale The Osterville Historical Society and Museum is seeking donations for the next marine rummage sale over Memorial Day weekend in 2006. If you have something such as water skis, anchors, oarlocks, fishing rods, paddles, etc., which you can part with stop by and make a donation or call 508-428-5861 to arrange for pick up. Kindermusik for children Preschool music classes for ages 18 months to 4 are ongoing at the South Congregational Church in Centerville for $9 a class. Kindergar- ten-age children are invited to attend Kindermusik Young Child classes Tuesdays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the church. Admission is $10. CIGSYA activities The Cape & Islands Gay & Straight Youth Alliance has a dance room, cy- ber center, library, TV room and game room as well as other programs and activities. There are monthly dances, movie nights, pot-luck dinners, tutor- ing and mentoring. CIGSYA is located at 56 Barnstable Road in Hyannis and serves people 22 and under. Circle for Youth meets from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays at the club house. Activities include creative writing, visual art, dance, theater and more. Dance programs in West Barnstable The Cape Cod Conservatory on Route 132 in Barnstable is offering ballet, tap, jazz and belly dancing for all ages. New hours at Maritime Museum The Cape Cod Maritime Museum, 135 South Street in Hyannis, is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 | a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. A new exhibit, "For Those in Peril on the Sea," is on dis- play as well as the ongoing construc- tion of a replica of the 1886 Crosby Catboat, Sarah. Admission is free to $5. Poets wanted for contest The Veterans For Peace is sponsor- ing a poetry contest to celebrate Peace Week , April 16 through 22. Around the Cape Lenten fish fry Free clothing St. Peter's Church-on-the-Canal welcomes all to take as much free clothing for adults and children as needed April 1 from 10 a.m. to noon.
