NEW HOURS ATMARITIME MUSEUM-The Cape Cod Maritime Museum, 135 South Street in Hyannis, is now open Thursday
through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. A new exhibit, For Those in Peril on the Sea, is
on display as well as the ongoing construction of a replica of the 1886 Crosby Catboat , Sarah. Admission is free to $5.

Kenneth Kinkor, historian,
author and pirate expert, shares
tales of the Cape's maritime

CIGSYA activities
The Cape & Islands Gay &
Straight Youth Alliance has a
dance room, cyber center, li-
brary, TV room and game room
as well as other programs and
activities. There are monthly
dances, movie nights, pot-luck
dinners, tutoring and mentor-
ing. CIGSYA is located at 56
Barnstable Road in Hyannis and
serves people 22 and under.
Circle for Youth meets from 3
to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays at the
club house. Activities include
creative writing, visual art,

The Friends of the Osterville Village
Library hosts weekly book sales in the
library's basement. This week, sales

Claire Cook, author of Must Love

The Eastham Public Library has

a.m. for children up to age 5. A craft
session follows. The library also hosts
a monthly "Magic The Gathering"
trading card game program for ages
11 and up the first Tuesday of each

Cape Cod Art Association
The Cape Cod Art Association, 3480
Route 6A in Barnstable, is offering
courses in watercolor painting, oil paint-
ing, life drawing, digital photography
and more. The Association is accepting
student members ages 14 to 22 with a
membership fee of $15 a year, which
includes discounts on classes, newslet-
ter subscription and ability to exhibit

its second Artist Members Show for
2006 through April 3 at its galleries at

Multiple works will be featured in the

Children's Art Classes include Art

The Cahoon Museum of American
