wedding of Miss Mary Bucci to Mr.
Francis Cottrell , the ceremony tak-
ing place at St. Anne's Church. The
bride is Mr. Bucci's niece.
Joseph Locke dislocated his knee
while playing volley ball last Wed-
nesday night at Osterville.

Mr. and Mrs . Edmund Mossey of
Brockton were weekend guestB at
the Pollard house.
Mrs. Daniel Leach has /eturned
home from a motor trip to Florida
and with Dr. Leach attended the
dog show In Boston.
Little Leter Van Leewen Is re-
covering from an ear Infection.
Manuel Gomes is at home from
the Cupe Cod Hospital . Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Gomes of Boston spent

spent Wednesday in New Bedford
with her brother , Carroll , and Mrs.
Fuller, who is recovering from a
recent operation performed at St.
Luke's Hospital.

of Rose Bud Troop I, Girl Scouts,
of Osterville. Miss Sandra Parkei
is a member of the troop which
meets every Tuesday afternoon af-
ter school hours In the Ostervllle
parish house.

At about dinner time Monday
evening, tho Kngiowood residents
wero again blessed with the fa-
miliar "no electricity, " Consequent-
ly, some dinner remained uncooked
on the stoves. Tho more fortunate
people ute by candlelight or lump-
light. However, Hie uloctrlclty was
soon restored , thanks to the good
service of the repair crew.

ulty. This game will be followed by

voted for, an increase of $525 over
1948.
