New programs at the Boys
& Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Club in Mashpee is
open Monday through Friday from 2 to 7
p.m. Teen nights are held each Wednes-
day night from 7 to 9 p.m. and every
Friday night from 7 to 10 p.m. Addition-
ally, the club is open every Saturday as
well during vacation weeks. Offerings
include photography, homework tutoring
and help, horseback riding, lacrosse, a
goai-setting program, karate, basketball,
dance, computer, career prep, healthy
living and much more. A satellite Boys &
Girls Club for grades 7 through 12 is now
open at Mashpee High School where
there is computer support, games, tutor-
ing SAT and MCAS prep and much more
available. Membership is $15 for the year.

The Callanish School of Celtic Arts

Foster and adoptive
families needed
Social workers and local foster par-
ents are present the fourth Thursday of
every month from noon to 1 p.m. and

Coffee and an open mic
The YMCA of Cape Cod's coffee-
house for teens at Camp Lyndon in
Sandwich will be held the second and
fourth Saturday of each month from 7
to 9 p.m. Featured activities include
an open mike, musicians, dancing, an
art gallery, poetry readings and more.
Teens are welcome to perform or just
