Just put them in a sealed plastic bag and either place them in containers set up in the lobby of either the Cotuit or Marstons Mills school, or send them by backpack with your children. VACATION PLANS: Looking ahead to the upcoming school vacation, parents could be planning family activities that will ben- efit their children's health and education. Walking the canal, other local trails or the beaches in good weather can make for fun and fitness. Cape museums such as The Natural Science Museum in Brewster , The Green Brier Nature Sanctuary or Heritage Museum in Sandwich or the Children's Museum in Mashpee have displays that are of interest to the whole family. A trip to Boston could include the Museum of Science, the Aquarium, the State House or the Children's Museum. Reading together from books supplied by your local library is a great family activity. Thinking and planning ahead can avoid the "What can we do now?" vacation doldrums and help to broaden your children's interests while creating happy family experiences. AFTER SCHOOL: The schools' PTO is again sponsoring an after-school enrichment program that extends through March 30. Instructors include an artist from the Cotuit Center for the Arts, a chef from the Mayflower Nursing Home, an expert in medieval studies, and a classical ballet dancer as well as volunteer teachers and parents with special talents to share.
