center
The Barnstable Senior Center,
Route 28 in Hyannis, hosts screen-
ings Monday and Friday afternoons
at 1 p.m. Free. The Jan. 13 film is
Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005), the story
of a wacky Volkswagen with a life of
its own. On Jan. 20 Bewitched, the
remake of the '60s sitcom starring
Nicole Kidman, plays. On Jan. 23
Meet Joe Black, a romantic fantasy,
is on screen.
Woods Hole film test
Films from the Woods Hole Film
Festival will be featured in a series
of dinner and screenings this winter
at Cap'n Kidd's restaurant in Woods
Hole. Dinner is served from 5:30 to
7:15 p.m. with the film shown at 7:30
p.m. Admission is $25 per person
and includes dinner and the movie.

Weekly films and food
The Island Merchant, 10 Ocean St.
in Hyannis, has screenings of popular
films every Tuesday evening. Food
and drink samples related to the film
are served on the side at 7 p.m. The

The Cape Cod Conservatory Girls
A Cappella Choir is holding audi-
tions Jan. 7 and 14 from 4 to 5:30
p.m. Rehearsals are every Monday

Conservatory in Barnstable. From
Renaissance madrigals to contem-
porary selections, the choir performs
extensively throughout the Cape.

Celebration for Mozart's
250th birthday
A musical celebration for Mozart's
250th birthday is held Jan. 27 at 8 p.m.
and Jan. 28 at 4 p.m. at Strawberry Hill
in Yarmouth Port when the Chatham
Chorale Chamber Singers,strings and
harpsichord are featured. Wine and
hors d'oeuvres served.Admission is
$50. Proceeds benefit the Yarmouth
New Church Preservations Foundation

Pianist to perform with
CSO
Mozart and Brahms are on the slate
for the Cape Symphony's Jan. 21
and 22 concerts when pianist Navah
Perlman performs. The Saturday show

We're not kidding! The seven vil-
lage libraries of Barnstable will host a
free cocktail reception Jan. 22 from 3
to 5 p.m. at the Centerville Library on
Main street to introduce their Bermu-
da Cruise fundraiser. Local libraries

Teens invited to rec
nights
The YMCA of Cape Cod, Route
132 in West Barnstable, hosts a Kids
Night Out Program when children are

The Osterville Historical Society
and Museum is seeking donations for
the next marine rummage sale over
Memorial Day weekend in 2006. If

skis, anchors, oarlocks, fishing rods,

Kindermusik for children
Preschool music classes for ages

at 56 Barnstable Road in Hyannis
and serves people 22 and under.
Circle for Youth meets from 3 to 5:30

The Cape Cod Conservatory on
