CC Hospita l receives generous award The third installment of a grant to- taling $739,803 to Cape Cod Hospital has been announced by Massachu- setts Health and Human Services Secretary Timothy Murphy. The $115,889 payment from the state's Distressed Provider Expendable Trust Fund will assist the hospital with delivering medical care to patients in the Cape Cod area. ? Train to end stroke The American Stroke Association is recruiting participants for its Train to End Stroke marathon training pro- gram, which combines a five-month fitness program with the opportunity to support stroke research and edu- cation. VNA has home health technology The Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod offers in-home telemonitor- ing technology. Rehabilitation Hospital offerings RHCI, 311 Service Road in East Sandwich, hosts a fibromyalgia sup- port group the fourth Thursday of the month. Breastfeeding Center courses The Center for Breastfeeding, 327 Quaker Meetinghouse Road in East Sandwich, offers a variety of services and courses for mothers.
