generous award
The third installment of a grant to-
taling $739,803 to Cape Cod Hospital
has been announced by Massachu-
setts Health and Human Services
Secretary Timothy Murphy. The
$115,889 payment from the state's
Distressed Provider Expendable Trust
Fund will assist the hospital with
delivering medical care to patients in
the Cape Cod area.
? Train to end stroke
The American Stroke Association
is recruiting participants for its Train
to End Stroke marathon training pro-
gram, which combines a five-month
fitness program with the opportunity
to support stroke research and edu-

Med monitors collect vital signs includ-

those who have lost children meets

Parents Helping Parents, a self-
help support group, offers free
weekly meetings for parents to share

Senior Center offers caregivers age

The Center for Breastfeeding, 327
Quaker Meetinghouse Road in East

a support group for smokers who

third Thursday of the month at the
Center for Healing Therapies/Reiki By

The Barnstable County Alzheimer 's
Collaborative offers a program called
Safe Return for those with Alzheim-
er's disease and their families. Safe
Return is a 24-hour database registry

disorder
A support group for parents and
caregivers of children and adoles-

Hard of Hearing (SHHH) meet the
